Alright.
My post today is all about flowers. The last couple of weeks have been a nice reminder that we really DO live in Holland.
Like the Eiffel Tower and Paris, the Statue of Liberty and NYC, Detroit and cars. The Netherlands is known for growing and celebrating spring flowers.
Two weeks ago, I volunteered with my friend Anna to pin flowers on floats for the annual and enormous Bloemencorso, or Flower parade. It's so easy to photograph these amazing floats, but honestly, I wish you all could have smelled this warehouse. It was like an explosion of Hyacinths.

Then today, Arnaud, Mila, Rémi and I went to Keukenhof. The famous gardens that flourish once a year in a town called Lisse. It's about 20 minutes from home and even the drive there was laced with fields of flowers. Today was a great day.
